AdeptAI raises $120M Series B to expand multimodal designer tools

AdeptAI announced a $120 million Series B today, positioning itself to scale an assistant-centric platform for designers and creative teams. The round was led by Sequoia with participation from existing investors and marks a big bet on conversational multimodal tooling that spans raster, vector and motion design.
The company previewed a new plugin suite that lets designers query, edit and transform assets using natural language. Examples shown include converting a raster hero image into layered vector assets and generating keyframe suggestions for small motion sequences. AdeptAI emphasizes the assistant’s context-awareness: it keeps track of artboard intent and maintains editable source layers rather than producing flattened outputs.
AdeptAI says the capital will be used to expand enterprise integrations, build offline capabilities, and invest in privacy-preserving model features so teams can train assistants on proprietary brand assets. The startup is also targeting deeper Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud integrations in the next two quarters.
