Adobe Creative Cloud adds Firefly 3 with motion-aware video generation

Firefly 3's motion-aware models can generate short video clips from prompts while maintaining temporal coherence and offering per-frame control tracks. The models support layered asset outputs so creators can edit background, foreground, and object motion independently after generation.

Adobe integrated Firefly 3 into Premiere Pro and After Effects via native panels that export keyframe-friendly layers. Temporal-aware inpainting helps remove objects across sequences without visible flicker by understanding motion trajectories.

Adobe stressed safety and IP controls: generated outputs can be flagged, and Firefly logs are accessible to creators to ensure transparency. The update reduces the time to prototype complex sequences, and professional editors said it will shift iterative discovery earlier in the edit process.
