Adobe Firefly 2026 adds vector-aware generative fills and auto-export for UI assets

The new vector-aware generative fills let designers expand or modify vector shapes while maintaining editable anchor points and paths. Instead of rasterizing generative output, Firefly now produces vector edits that can be refined in Illustrator or exported for use in interface frameworks.

Adobe also added auto-export presets that generate production-ready image sizes, SVG optimizations, and responsive asset variants based on a project's design tokens. Handoff artifacts now include suggested accessibility metadata and export notes to reduce back-and-forth with developers.

For teams, Adobe highlighted tighter integration with version control and design systems. Firefly's outputs can be tracked as change proposals to components, and generated assets can be automatically diffed against baseline UI assets to flag unexpected visual changes.
