Adobe Firefly 2026.2 adds vector-to-design conversions and Figma import parity
Design · 4 min read
Adobe rolled out Firefly 2026.2 with enhanced vector asset generation and a new Figma importer that preserves layers, masks, and component semantics when moving generated assets into Figma. Firefly's vector engine now supports precise alignment, named layers, and export-ready SVGs with token-friendly attributes.
The update also adds brand-safe filtering and tokenization options so teams can generate assets that adhere to color tokens, spacing tokens, and typography variables. Adobe says this reduces cleanup time when bringing AI-generated visuals into product design systems.
Adobe additionally introduced a collaborative review workflow where teams can leave inline notes on generated images and lock specific regions. The company is promoting the update to creative teams working alongside product designers to streamline asset handoff.
