Firefly 3 brings a multimodal layout model that understands not just image prompts but the structure and constraints of artboards. Designers can ask Firefly to convert a hero layout into a mobile-first carousel, preserving brand assets while recomposing hierarchy and typography for the new canvas.

Adobe emphasized that Firefly 3 works with libraries and design systems, mapping symbols and tokens to the new compositions so teams keep consistency. The model also offers batch transformations across hundreds of artboards, powered by GPU-accelerated cloud inference for enterprise customers.

Privacy features include dataset provenance tags and the ability to lock certain brand assets from modification. Adobe plans deep integrations with Creative Cloud Libraries and a new SDK for third-party tools to call Firefly layout services.
