Adobe Firefly adds on-canvas vector editing and style tokens

Firefly’s new on-canvas vector tools let designers convert generative raster outputs into editable vectors inside the app, preserving layers and masks generated by the model. Designers can tweak anchor points, path curvature, and stroke weights without re-generating assets.

Style tokens are a new native construct that captures color, typography, and motion parameters from a Firefly session. Designers can export these tokens in formats compatible with major design systems and CSS custom properties, enabling consistent use of AI-created aesthetics across products.

Adobe is shipping integrations with Creative Cloud Libraries and third-party platforms, plus a provenance panel that logs which prompts, seeds, and modifiers produced an asset. This provenance data is intended to help collaborators understand and reproduce generative outputs.
