Adobe Firefly adds vector diffusion and node-based control for complex asset generation

Adobe's latest Firefly release introduces vector diffusion: a generation pipeline that creates scalable SVG/Bezier output instead of raster images by default. Adobe claims this retains editability and integrates with Illustrator and Adobe XD more naturally than raster-first workflows.

Complementing vector diffusion is a node-based control panel that exposes generation stages—concept seed, shape refinement, stroke styling, and color harmonization—so designers can tweak intermediate outputs and recombine paths programmatically. The interface is geared toward advanced users seeking reproducible generation pipelines.

Adobe also added export presets for common web, mobile, and print targets to streamline production handoffs. The vector outputs include metadata tags for font licensing and suggested responsive behavior, helping bridge generative creation with production constraints.
