Adobe Firefly for Teams launches design-system generation and token sync

Firefly for Teams lets design leads input brand attributes—voice, color palettes, photography styles—and generate a full starter design system: color tokens, type scale, layout grids, and component skeletons. The system output can be pushed as tokens into Adobe XD, Photoshop, and Illustrator instantly.

The product also introduces a token sync service for enterprises that maintains version history, access controls, and conflict resolution. Designers can lock tokens at the organization level and open specific scopes to product teams, which reduces token drift across platforms.

Adobe emphasizes governance: generated systems include accessibility checks, contrast reports, and suggested alt-text guidelines. Early enterprise customers say the feature significantly cuts initial system setup time, though many still fine-tune the output manually for edge cases.
