Adobe Inclusive: Component-Level Accessibility Reports and Live ARIA Mapping in Creative Cloud

Adobe launched 'Adobe Inclusive', a set of accessibility-first features integrated into Photoshop, Illustrator, and XD. The headline addition is component-level accessibility reports that evaluate color contrast, semantic labeling, focus navigation, and expected ARIA outputs for each design system component.

Designers can now preview how a component will be announced by screen readers or how it behaves under various reduce-motion and high-contrast settings. Adobe Inclusive's live ARIA mapping shows recommended ARIA attributes and example HTML snippets that map directly to design tokens, enabling more accurate handoffs and fewer last-minute changes.

Adobe also added an accessibility annotation layer that persists in shared design files so developers see the designer’s intent — not just a screenshot — when implementing components. The company is opening an API so third-party libraries and accessibility QA tools can consume the component reports and automate compliance checks in CI pipelines.
