Adobe introduces 'Generative Prototype' in XD, automates flows from copy and sketches
Design · 3 min read
Generative Prototype leverages a set of tuned models inside Adobe’s cloud to parse briefs and rough sketches into structured flows, screens and interaction maps. Designers can paste a product brief and get a first-pass prototype with common patterns (nav bars, modals, onboarding) and suggested microcopy.
Adobe emphasized control and guardrails: every generated element is mapped to a component library and the output includes suggested accessibility fixes. Teams can toggle the conservatism of the generator to prefer established patterns or to explore more radical alternatives.
The feature docks into XD’s existing collaboration tools and supports export to Figma and standard prototyping formats. Adobe announced a public beta available to Creative Cloud subscribers this week and previewed an enterprise admin panel for auditing generative outputs.
