Adobe partners with VectorNova to integrate vector-aware generative APIs into Photoshop

The integration lets users generate icons and interface elements as editable vector layers from textual prompts or sketches. Generated assets include path metadata and suggested component names so they can be ingested into design system pipelines with less manual cleanup.
Adobe and VectorNova cite interoperability as a priority: generated vectors are compatible with shared token systems and can be exported to other design apps without losing component mappings. The partnership will roll out through a Photoshop update and an SDK for third-party plugin developers.
Adobe also emphasized enterprise deployment options and content safety filters to prevent unintended copyright generation. Early demonstrations show rapid creation of UI kits and icon sets that are immediately editable by designers and usable by engineering teams.
