Adobe Photoshop Beta adds generative layout tool and design token sync

Adobe released a Photoshop Beta update that integrates a new generative layout tool aimed at designers creating multi-screen campaigns. Users can supply a brief and a set of brand constraints; Photoshop generates compositional variants across sizes and creates exportable assets for web and mobile.
Crucially, the update includes design token extraction that synchronizes colors, type styles, and spacing into an Adobe token library, which can be pushed to Adobe XD, Figma via plugin, or exported as JSON for engineering teams. Adobe claims this reduces manual tokenization steps and preserves visual fidelity when moving assets into UI workflows.
Adobe also improved layer semantics in generated outputs so shape layers and text layers map cleanly into tools downstream. The Beta retains manual controls for designers who want to refine generative suggestions and offers an audit panel that lists sources and creative constraints used during generation.
