Adobe releases Firefly Designer with layout-aware model

Firefly Designer extends Adobe's Firefly models with layout understanding and native integration into Photoshop, Illustrator, and XD. It can take a single design brief and generate a consistent set of screens, type scales, and spacing rules that export as editable Adobe assets.

Adobe emphasized cross-application fidelity, allowing designers to generate a landing page layout in XD and continue detailed visual work in Photoshop without losing semantic structure. The company also added accessibility checks to the generation pipeline to flag insufficient contrast and poor hierarchy.

For teams, Firefly Designer includes shared style libraries and a review workflow that logs generation provenance. Adobe is offering a phased rollout with enterprise controls to limit which users can generate and publish production components.
