Adobe updates Firefly with token-aware image-to-asset export for designers

The update allows designers to request assets with explicit token mappings (colors, spacing, radii) so the generated images align with a project's design system. Exports include layered PSDs or vectors and a token manifest that can be imported into design tools.

Adobe emphasized control: prompts can include constraints like 'retain primary color palette' or 'keep logo area editable' and the model respects these during generation. There's also a new verification UI that highlights areas of the asset that might need manual cleanup.

The feature integrates into Adobe XD and plugins for other major design apps. Adobe is positioning this as a bridge between creative AI outputs and engineering-ready assets, reducing the handoff friction between designers and developers.
