Adobe XD adds generative UI flows and token syncing with Creative Cloud

The generative UI flows feature lets designers describe a user journey in prose and receive a multi-screen prototype with annotated transitions, microcopy, and suggested user testing scenarios. The LLM integrates with XD's prototyping engine so that transitions and interaction states are simulated rather than just mocked.

Design token syncing brings a centralized token store in Creative Cloud that updates across assets and export targets. Tokens can be auto-extracted from generated designs and pushed to developer pipelines as JSON or platform-specific variables.

Adobe is offering versioned control for tokens and AI-generated flows so teams can audit changes. While Adobe touts faster iteration cycles, it recommends designers validate generated interaction logic with user testing to avoid assumptions baked into automated flows.
