Adobe XD's latest update adds live model previews that simulate how different user personas will interact with a prototype. Designers can create personas with traits, device conditions, and accessibility needs, then run simulations to see probable pain points and friction hotspots.

The system leverages small, task-focused models to predict click paths, input patterns, and likely misinterpretations of microcopy. Teams can then automatically generate A/B variants targeted at improving outcomes for specific personas.

Adobe highlighted integrations with analytics platforms so teams can reconcile simulated behavior with real user data. The feature aims to shorten validation cycles by identifying issues before user testing, though Adobe recommends pairing simulations with real user feedback for high-stakes decisions.
