AeroPort Unveils EV Charging Network for Urban eVTOL Corridors

AeroPort’s vertiports combine automated battery swap bays with distributed energy storage and on-site power smoothing to handle high transient loads. The company’s initial corridors will focus on intra-city shuttles connecting hubs like airports, business districts and transit nodes.

Operators can reserve bays through AeroPort’s API, which provides ETA-aware scheduling and predictive maintenance alerts for battery packs. The system is built to accommodate multiple vehicle designs through standardized interface adapters and charging profiles.

AeroPort will work with municipalities and aviation authorities during pilots to validate safety procedures and noise mitigation. The company claims the hub model reduces turnaround times and extends battery lifecycles through intelligent thermal management.
