Aether Labs raises $75M to launch SkyFrame, an AI-first cloud desktop for creators

SkyFrame provides designers and creators with cloud-hosted workstations preconfigured with creative apps, GPU access, and native AI assistants for tasks like background removal, scene upscaling, and vectorization. The platform supports session handoffs so teams can co-edit assets in real time while maintaining local performance expectations.
Aether Labs' $75 million Series B was led by Summit Capital with participation from several strategic cloud partners. The funding will expand global data center presence, build proprietary low-latency streaming tech, and license additional creative tools for bundled offerings.
SkyFrame targets agencies and in-house creative teams who need scalable compute without local hardware upgrades. Pricing will combine subscription seats with optional GPU hours for heavy rendering workloads, and a private cloud option will be available for enterprise customers.
