For disputes and claims, Airbnb introduced an evidence hub that centralized messages, photos, and timestamps, paired with an intelligent triage assistant that proposed likely resolutions. Hosts could accept suggested remedies or escalate to human review; the design prioritized transparency about decision timelines and evidence sufficiency. This reduced uncertainty and improved compliance with community guidelines.

Designers also added UI patterns for seasonal updates and calendar management, making it easier to apply bulk rules and blackout dates. The host case highlights how clear defaults, example-driven templates, and transparent conflict flows can improve marketplace health and host satisfaction.
