Airtable integrates LLM-driven schema and UI suggestions for product teams

The assistant analyzes an existing base or a plain-language description of a process, then proposes a schema with normalized tables, linked records, and recommended field types. It can also auto-generate Kanban, gallery, and calendar views suited to the workflow.

Airtable's feature suggests automations—triggers, actions, and conditional logic—to reduce repetitive tasks, and it can scaffold forms with validated fields and conditional visibility. Teams can accept suggestions, ask for iterations, or export the schema to CSV and JSON for developers.

The integration offers role-based governance: admins can restrict assistant suggestions, approve schema changes, and prevent certain fields from being autogenerated to maintain data integrity. Airtable also exposes the assistant through API endpoints for custom integrations.
