Aperture Games raised $80 million led by Foundry Capital to scale Playcraft Engine, which promises fast iteration for live features like events, meta systems, and UI-driven monetization flows. The company aims to democratize live ops tooling.
Playcraft provides a visual state machine editor, telemetry-backed UI builders, and server-side A/B experimentation orchestrators that non-programmers can use. Aperture claims studios can ship live features in weeks instead of months.
Several mid-sized studios announced pilot agreements to migrate live systems to Playcraft. Aperture is also launching a marketplace for reusable live features and UX templates designed by community studios.
