ApertureXR raises $33M to roll out spatial UI framework for enterprise AR
Design · 5 min read
ApertureXR introduced a spatial UI framework with reusable components, backdrops, and interaction patterns aimed at enterprise AR applications like field service and training. The framework offers standardized affordances—menus, tool palettes, and gaze/gesture patterns—so teams can avoid ad-hoc UIs across projects.
The company’s $33 million Series A was led by Polaris Capital and will fund partnerships with headset OEMs, certification programs for enterprise customers, and tooling for converting existing 2D dashboards into spatial equivalents. ApertureXR emphasized cross-device parity and tools to verify accessibility in spatial interfaces.
Pilot deployments include a logistics company testing pick-by-AR workflows and an energy firm prototyping remote assistance overlays. ApertureXR plans to open-source core patterns later this year to accelerate adoption and community contributions.
