Apple App Store introduces Dynamic Pricing tiers and subscription group analytics

Dynamic Pricing lets developers set rules that adjust prices automatically by region, currency volatility, or promotional windows. The new system supports guardrails and targeting rules so teams can run time-boxed price experiments without manually updating individual storefronts.
Subscription group analytics now surface cohort-based churn reasons, time-to-first-major-event metrics, and cross-promotional lift. Apple added a built-in A/B testing framework for pricing and onboarding flows that integrates with App Store notifications for segmented messaging.
Developers noted the features reduce operational overhead and provide clearer performance signals. Apple said privacy protections remain in place: experiments are handled on aggregated telemetry rather than user-level logs, and developers receive only cohort summaries.
