Apple launches SwiftAI SDK for Vision Pro to accelerate native generative UI

SwiftAI bundles a set of Swift-first primitives for text, image, and spatial generation optimized for Apple silicon and the Vision Pro runtime. The SDK includes a model abstraction layer that lets developers swap in Apple-signed models or third-party quantized models while ensuring runtime performance and memory governance.

For designers, SwiftAI adds a new set of Interface Components for generative headers, adaptive layouts and constrained content variation controls that can be previewed inside Xcode and on device. Designers can pin style constraints so generated assets obey brand tokens, typography scales and spatial interaction rules.

Apple emphasized on-device personalization: small task-specific adapters can be trained on-device using private user interactions without uploading raw data. The company also published updated Human Interface Guidelines for generative spatial UX and examples for handoff between designers and engineers.
