Arbor Labs raises $40M to scale a sustainable e-ink display platform for product labels

Arbor Labs builds ultra-low-power e-ink modules with a cloud management console for content scheduling, fleet updates, and energy analytics. The $40 million, led by Greenline Capital, will expand manufacturing partnerships and build regional logistics to serve retail chains and warehouses.

The platform offers templated layout editors for prices, compliance labels, and multilingual updates that sync at the edge. Arbor stresses total cost of ownership improvements versus LCD signage: the e-ink displays can run for years on battery and create a smaller environmental footprint.

Arbor is targeting grocery, pharma, and logistics, where changeable labels reduce paper waste and improve operational accuracy. The company will also introduce SDKs for data-driven label updates based on inventory and pricing pipelines.
