ArcadeForge raises $30M and launches cloud-native game backend suite

ArcadeForge unveiled ForgeCloud, a managed backend platform aimed at indie and mid-size studios building multiplayer titles. The suite provides low-latency state synchronization, flexible server scaling, and pre-built matchmaking flows that can be dropped into Unity and Unreal projects in minutes. ArcadeForge highlights built-in observability and integrated anti-cheat heuristics tuned for fast-moving PvP titles.

The company also announced a $30 million Series A led by Ember Capital and GameSpring Ventures, which it says will be used to expand global edge deployment and build SDKs for popular engines. ArcadeForge founder and CTO Luis Moreno noted that studios often waste months building bespoke backends, and ForgeCloud aims to standardize and accelerate that process while offering predictable pricing.

Early partners include three studios launching titles later this year; ArcadeForge will offer a free tier for prototypes and a usage-based model for production titles. The launch positions ArcadeForge against incumbents by emphasizing developer ergonomics and lower operational overhead for small teams.
