Arcadia Games raises $50M to launch CrossplayCloud — matchmaking and latency smoothing as a service

Arcadia Games announced a $50 million Series C and launched CrossplayCloud, a managed service that provides matchmaking, region-aware latency smoothing, and rollback-friendly netcode templates for cross-platform multiplayer titles. Investors included GameWorks Capital and PlayerFund.

CrossplayCloud integrates with major engine SDKs and offers tools that simulate cross-device networking conditions during development. The service helps studios deliver consistent multiplayer feel across consoles, PC, and mobile while reducing the engineering burden of bespoke netcode.

Arcadia will use funding to expand global PoPs, add more robust anticheat integrations, and offer service credits for indie publishers. Early licensees reported improved player retention and fewer crossplay connectivity complaints at launch.
