Arcadia raises $150M to scale cross-platform cloud gaming infrastructure

Arcadia, a cloud gaming infrastructure provider, announced $150 million in new funding to scale its edge compute footprint and introduced a low-latency streaming stack tailored for competitive multiplayer games. The stack includes predictive frame scheduling, adaptive frame rate syncing, and jitter-resilient input pipelines.

Arcadia plans to deploy new micro-regions closer to dense player populations and to offer developer-friendly SLAs for latency and packet loss. The company’s SDK integrates with popular engines and provides tools to simulate geographic variance during development.

Investors highlighted the growing demand for consistent, low-latency play across regions as a driver of the round. Arcadia says the funds will also support partnerships with publishers and tier-one ISPs to optimize last-mile routing for player inputs and streaming traffic.
