Arcadia Raises €60M to Build Social VR Platform for Shared Live Events
Gaming · 4 min read
Arcadia aims to create a scalable social VR environment optimized for live events and high-concurrency interactions. The platform supports hybrid audiences where in-person attendees and remote viewers can interact through avatars, dynamic spatial audio, and synchronized content feeds.
The funding will go toward latency optimization, content partnerships, and tooling to let event producers spin up branded spaces with minimal technical overhead. Arcadia also plans to offer a non-VR web fallback to maximize accessibility.
Investors underscored the potential for immersive social experiences to complement traditional media. Arcadia’s roadmap includes licensing deals with music promoters and sports leagues and a consumer-facing beta slated for Q1 2027.
