Arcana Interactive Raises $30M and Launches LiveOps Subscription Toolkit for Mid-Size Studios

The toolkit lets teams create, schedule, and distribute content patches without pushing client updates, using a content bundling system that patches assets at runtime. It includes an experiment pipeline with cohort management and telemetry-backed rollouts to reduce risk during live feature launches.

The funding was led by GameFund Capital with participation from platform-focused investors. Arcana plans to expand global CDN capacity, add more robust analytics, and provide professional services to help studios set up monetization strategies and retention campaigns.

Mid-size studios using the beta reported faster event launches and more granular control over player experiences. Arcana’s pitch is to lower the operational threshold for live services so smaller teams can behave like mature live-ops organizations without building the tooling themselves.
