Arcane Labs launches Arcane Playbook with $27M seed to automate game live ops

Arcane Labs, a startup founded by former game ops and analytics leads, announced a $27 million seed round led by Neon Harbor with participation from LevelUp Ventures. The company simultaneously launched Arcane Playbook, a platform meant to centralize monetization experiments, dynamic content delivery, and player segmentation.
Playbook ingests telemetry in real time, runs multi-armed bandit experiments, and uses generative AI to propose event creatives, reward curves, and narrative variants tuned to cohorts. The platform outputs A/B tests with automatic guardrails and conversion estimates to minimize risk during deployment.
Arcane Labs says a handful of mid-sized live games are already running simultaneous campaigns through Playbook, reporting higher retention on targeted cohorts and fewer manual ops interventions. The new funding will expand the engineering team and build integrations with major analytics and CDNs for global rollouts.
