ArcFrame ships modular AR UI kit and raises $12M to push spatial design workflows

ArcFrame, a company focused on spatial UX tooling, released a modular AR UI kit that includes accessible widgets, motion primitives, and spatial layout heuristics for AR and mixed reality apps. Alongside the product launch, ArcFrame announced $12 million in new funding.
The kit integrates with popular 3D engines and design tools, providing export pipelines and an inspector for spatial affordances like depth anchors and occlusion rules. ArcFrame also revealed a Figma plugin that previews AR widgets in context.
Investors pointed to the funding as a bet on designers gaining more control over spatial interactions rather than leaving UI details to engineers. The startup plans to use the capital to build training materials and certification programs for spatial design teams.
Design leaders say standardization around reusable AR components could reduce fragmentation and accelerate production-quality spatial interfaces, which are currently hindered by bespoke implementations and inconsistent interaction models.
