ArcLens unveils AR glasses for designers with 6DoF sketching and multi-app spatial workspaces
Tech · 5 min read
ArcLens introduced the Studio Edition AR glasses, aimed at designers and architects who work with spatial models and 2D/3D hybrid workflows. The device supports 6DoF hand tracking, pen input with tilt sensitivity, and persistent spatial workspaces that allow multiple apps to coexist in the same room-scale environment.
The hardware pairs a 140-degree field-of-view with full-color passthrough and announces a developer SDK compatible with Blender, Rhino, and Figma for spatial placements of canvases and assets. ArcLens also offers cloud sync for collaborative sessions so teams can share annotated models in real time.
Prices start at $1,399 for early adopters, and ArcLens is offering a pilot program for studios building native spatial tools. The company says it will release an enterprise-focused software suite with versioning and access controls later this year.
