Argus Robotics Raises $85M Series B to Ship Autonomous Warehouse Drone Fleet
Tech · 6 min read
Argus Robotics closed an $85 million Series B led by Industrial Ventures to scale production and operations of its autonomous warehouse drone fleet. The drones perform high-frequency inventory audits, shelf inspections, and environmental sensing without interrupting ground traffic.
The system includes a central orchestration console that coordinates missions, resolves airspace conflicts, and integrates with warehouse management systems (WMS). Argus emphasizes safety: drones operate in designated lanes below a maximum ceiling and employ multiple redundant sensors and geofencing.
With the new capital, Argus will expand manufacturing capacity and regional service teams to support deployments in North America and Europe. The company plans to add pallet-level scanning and robot-to-drone handoff features for complex fulfillment environments.
