Atlas Labs announced a $50 million Series B led by Meridian Capital to scale its on-device multimodal models that assist designers in image editing and layout composition while keeping user data local. The company positions on-device AI as essential for privacy-sensitive workflows in regulated sectors.
Their SDK supports neural style transfer, background removal, and layout auto-suggestions, all optimized for mobile and desktop GPUs. Atlas Labs also released a set of developer tools to integrate AI features directly into design authoring environments.
Funding will be used to expand model compression research, add more platform ports, and build partnerships with device OEMs. Atlas Labs will also offer enterprise deployment options for teams requiring additional governance and auditability.
