Atlas Robotics raises $60M to commercialize warehouse robots with human-aware navigation

Atlas Robotics, which develops autonomous mobile robots for logistics, announced a $60 million Series B led by SoftBank Vision Fund 3. The raise will fund ramping production and deploying robots for large-scale warehouse clients across North America and Europe.
Atlas’ robots emphasize human-aware navigation: multimodal perception stacks combining LiDAR, stereo vision, and audio cues allow smooth path planning around pickers and dynamic obstacles. The company claims improved throughput and reduced near-miss incidents compared with legacy AMRs.
The funding will expand Atlas's manufacturing capacity, add field-service teams, and enhance fleet orchestration software with predictive analytics for downtime and demand spikes. Atlas also plans to introduce a developer API to allow integration with third-party WMS platforms.
Warehouse managers noted that the robots’ gentle interaction model reduced worker complaints about collisions and obstruction. Atlas will offer pilot programs for medium-sized logistics companies and subscription pricing that bundles hardware, software, and maintenance.
