Atlas UI raises $14M to build a visual accessibility engine for design systems
Design · 4 min read
Atlas UI's engine performs continuous checks against WCAG and internal accessibility policies, surfacing prioritized fixes with code and design recommendations. It maps issues back to design tokens and component definitions so teams can fix root causes rather than individual instances.
The funding round, led by Lighthouse Capital, will be used to expand rule coverage, add localization-aware checks, and build tighter CI/CD integrations. Atlas plans to offer both cloud and on-premise deployments for regulated customers.
Design and engineering teams reported that Atlas dramatically reduced accessibility debt and sped up audits, though some teams asked for better triaging features to align fixes with sprint priorities. Atlas is adding a severity-ranking UI and sprint-exportable remediation plans.
