Auralink raises $27M to launch spatial audio toolkit for remote collaboration

Auralink's toolkit offers low-latency spatialization, head-tracked audio rendering, and acoustic presets for different environments (studio, auditorium, open office). The product targets VR/AR collaboration, remote music production, and immersive meetings.

Investors in the $27 million round—led by Soundwave Partners—pointed to rising demand for higher-fidelity remote experiences in hybrid work and creative production. Auralink says it will prioritize mobile optimizations and cloud-based beamforming to handle variable network conditions.

Audio engineers loved the attention to acoustics and realistic occlusion modeling but requested more accessible authoring tools for non-sound specialists. Auralink plans to ship a visual room-builder and presets tailored to common collaboration scenarios.
