Aurora Labs announced a $45 million Series B led by Meridian Ventures to accelerate adoption of its realtime UI generation engine, which turns design tokens and product specs into production-ready interfaces. The startup says the funding will be used to scale its inference infrastructure and hire product designers to refine UX patterns for regulated industries.
The product, launched in public beta six months ago, can consume design system definitions and business rules and output responsive React, Swift, and Jetpack Compose components. Early enterprise customers praised the reduction in handoff time between design and engineering, particularly for data-dense enterprise screens.
Aurora also unveiled a new Design SDK aimed at bridging design systems with runtime feature flags. The SDK will let designers validate layout decisions against production data and A/B test UI variations without full engineering cycles, a move that positions Aurora squarely at the intersection of DesignOps and AI-driven engineering automation.
