Aurora Labs today announced a $120 million Series B led by Meridian Capital and Threshold Ventures, bringing the startup's total funding to $210 million. The round also included participation from design-focused investor CraftHouse and several strategic partners in the media and advertising industries.
Simultaneously, Aurora launched StudioOne, a cloud-first creative studio that merges multimodal generative models with a timeline-based editor. StudioOne offers designers a unified canvas to generate imagery, synthesize realistic soundscapes, and prototype interactive UI transitions, with tight version control and team permissions.
The company emphasizes collaboration features: shared workspaces, live cursors, and a plugin API for existing design tools. Aurora positions StudioOne as a direct answer to fragmented workflows where teams stitch together separate tools for moodboards, sound, and motion. Early customers include boutique agencies and in-house creative teams at two major game studios.
