AuroraGrid, maker of modular data center hardware and a management layer, announced a $75 million round led by North Harbor Capital with commitments from renewable energy investors. The funding will be used to scale factory capacity and fund a new firmware-defined power-management platform.
The product line comprises standardized rack modules that integrate power distribution, liquid cooling, and smart telemetry. Customers can combine modules to meet compute and power needs, and AuroraGrid provides a remote orchestration dashboard for capacity planning and predictive maintenance.
Target markets include urban edge providers, telco micro-hubs, and AI inferencing clusters near data sources. AuroraGrid says pilot customers achieved 30% faster deployment and 18% better PUE compared with retrofitting existing spaces.
