Axiom Interfaces raises $65M and launches Aperture — AR glasses for industrial designers

Axiom Interfaces announced a $65 million funding round led by Industrial Ventures and unveiled Aperture, an AR headset aimed at industrial designers and product teams. Aperture prioritizes a lightweight form factor, extended wear comfort, and workflows for overlaying CAD models onto real prototypes. The device includes tools for pass/fail annotation, dimensional verification, and synchronous remote co-review with integrated voice notes and gesture-based marking.

Aperture’s software integrates with major CAD systems and supports mesh alignment, measurement telemetry, and versioned overlays so designers can iterate in situ. Axiom also launched a cloud collaboration portal where teammates can replay review sessions and export annotated measurement datasets to PLM systems.

The new capital will be used to scale production, broaden enterprise partnerships with OEMs, and expand the Aperture developer ecosystem. Axiom says early pilots with automotive and consumer-electronics teams have shortened physical iteration cycles by enabling earlier feedback on fit and ergonomics.
