Blender integrates Grease Pencil AI for rapid concept iteration

The Grease Pencil AI features include stroke smoothing, perspective correction, and automated inking options that translate rough sketches into clean lines and layered vector strokes. There's also a tool for converting 2D sketches into block-out 3D geometry to aid in rapid previsualization.
Artists can condition outputs on style references and export clean SVGs or layered Grease Pencil files for further animation. The integration is designed to preserve artistic control: suggestions can be blended with original strokes using opacity and layer masks.
Blender Foundation emphasized open-source principles and made the model optional and pluggable so studios can customize behavior without altering Blender's core. Community artists are already sharing presets for different inking styles and production pipelines.
