Blok Labs raises $14M to launch ModuHub, a marketplace for hardware modularity
Tech ยท 4 min read
ModuHub connects module makers, OEMs, and repair shops with a unified certification process and a catalog API that surfaces compatible modules for devices. Blok Labs included verification tooling that checks electrical and thermal specs and helps ensure safe interoperability across vendor modules.
The $14 million round will be used to expand accreditation, build an SDK for module firmware management, and establish logistics partnerships to simplify module distribution. Investors included sustainable hardware funds and a couple of supply-chain investors focused on circular economy models.
Blok Labs hopes ModuHub will accelerate modular adoption by lowering the friction for finding, validating, and integrating third-party modules. The marketplace will offer warranties and buyback guarantees to reduce perceived risk for consumers.
