BoltRouter launches TransitOS for micro-mobility operators and raises $10M
Tech · 3 min read
BoltRouter introduced TransitOS, a SaaS product designed to help micro-mobility operators manage dockless fleets, optimize rebalancing routes, and automate maintenance schedules. The platform uses real-time telemetry and predictive models to reduce downtime and maximize vehicle availability across neighborhoods.
BoltRouter's seed round of $10 million was led by Urban Innovation Fund, with support from several strategic municipal partners. The company said the funds will be used to expand operations in Europe and North America, build out an API marketplace for partner services, and invest in local onboarding teams.
Operators piloting TransitOS reported lower operational costs thanks to optimized routing and automated battery-health alerts. The product includes a rider-facing dashboard for community engagement and a governance layer to ensure compliance with city permits and geofencing rules.
