Canva's AI Designer 2.0 introduces motion presets that automatically align animations to a brand's personality, token system, and motion guidelines. Designers can choose conservative, expressive, or dynamic modes, and the system generates motion timelines and easing curves that apply consistently across slides and stories.

A new pitch deck generator asks for target investor types, traction metrics, and company stage, then constructs a narrative arc with slide layouts, visualizations, and speaker notes. The generator pulls relevant assets from a team's brand kit and recommends charts and images to strengthen key points. Canva says this helps small teams produce investor-ready materials faster.

Privacy-friendly features include enterprise lockboxes for financial figures and the ability to disable external training on uploaded assets. Users reported faster deck assembly, particularly for non-designers, though some designers noted the AI's slide sequencing sometimes required manual refinement for storytelling nuance.
