Canva debuts CanvasGPT: instant brand-aligned templates for teams

CanvasGPT leverages brand kits, uploaded assets and team palettes to generate campaign templates that adhere to established rules. Users input campaign goals, channels and tone, and the model produces a set of templates for social, email header, and print that are immediately editable.
Canva included a “brand safety” verifier to flag color or image suggestions that conflict with brand guidelines and a team review flow that enables sign-offs before assets are published. The rollout also adds batch-export options and direct publish integrations with social platforms.
Canva says CanvasGPT is intended to speed up small-team creative cycles by automating repetitive layout and copy tasks while keeping a single source of brand truth. The company shared early metrics showing faster turnaround and higher on-brand consistency for test customers.
