Canva introduces AI Design Coach for brand libraries and on-the-fly style guidance

Canva's AI Design Coach scans a user's brand kit—colors, fonts, logos, and usage rules—and provides inline suggestions to keep new designs compliant. The coach flags violations (incorrect logo usage, nonapproved fonts) and offers corrected alternatives with one-click fixes.
The coach also offers style explanations targeted to non-designers, explaining why certain contrast or spacing choices improve legibility or brand coherence. Canva says the feature reduces back-and-forth between marketing and design teams and speeds up campaign production.
For enterprise customers, Canva allows admins to configure strictness levels and automate approvals for certain asset classes. The company claims this reduces manual reviews by design teams by an average of 30 percent in early trials.
