Canva introduces Canva Scribe for brand guideline generation with LLMs
Design · 3 min read
Users input a few brand anchors—mission, color palette, and example imagery—and Canva Scribe drafts a brand guide with recommended typography, usage rules, and sample microcopy across channels. It can also produce editable template sets in Canva that follow the generated guidelines.
Scribe includes controls for audience tone, formality, and regional adaptations, letting teams generate variant guides for different markets. Canva offers a review workflow to lock sections of a guide and export it as a PDF or JSON for developer consumption.
Canva positions Scribe for speed and accessibility, recommending designers treat outputs as starting points that require review, especially for legal claims and cultural sensitivity. The company says Scribe will be rolled out to Pro subscribers followed by enterprise integrations.
