Canva Pro adds Brand Architect: AI that generates full identity systems from prompts

Brand Architect asks for a few descriptive inputs—brand voice, target audience, and preferred motifs—then produces a starter identity system with multiple logo iterations, color palettes with accessible contrast checks, typography pairings, and sample social templates. Everything is output as editable Canva components and a downloadable brand kit.

Canva emphasized speed and ease of use: non-designers can get usable identity scaffolds in minutes and iterate from there. The system also exports usable design tokens for web and mobile, though experts caution that generated identities are best as starting points and may need professional refinement to achieve differentiation.

Agencies see competitive pressure but also opportunity: clients using Brand Architect may come to studios with clearer briefs and preliminary assets, shortening discovery phases. For solo founders and marketers, the tool lowers the barrier to launching consistent visual systems quickly.
